Very nice restaurant. Clean and tidy. Food are very delicious. Perfect place to eat with your family.
If you're looking for a high-end Japanese dining option at AEON Mall BSD, Gion Sushi is likely the best choice. The food quality stands out, and our meal there was satisfying. We ordered a variety of dishes to try, including: - **IKA SUGATAYAKI** - **SALMON KILLER ROLL** - **GYU TRUFFLE DON** - **SALMON BELLY ROLL** - **MAGURO ZUKE** (3 portions) - **SALMON CHEESE ROLL** - **HIMAWARI SASHIMI SET** The total came to about 1.297 million IDR for five people with drinks included for each person, which I feel is very reasonable given the quality of the food. The service was quite good as well, with attentive staff ensuring our dining experience was smooth. The ambiance added to the premium feel of the restaurant, making it a worthwhile experience. Overall, I would definitely consider returning to Gion Sushi when in the area, especially for a special occasion or when craving quality Japanese cuisine.
I come here for lunch, unfortunately i forgot to take pictures for some menus. I cannot complain for the taste, since it is pretty much the same standard as the Gion outlet. The serving and plating are also consistent. In terms of service, it is quite satisfying in my opinion The only thing that i don't really like is how noisy the place really is. Maybe because it become a place where families usually come together to eat and chit-chat. But overall, it is still ok. Cheers.
I read the bad 1 star review after ordering so many dishes. I planned to review after my meal instead (sssh, to get the free salmon head 🤭) Overall, the foods are great and acceptable (coming from someone who’s quite particular about Japanese foods) We had to order the cooked ones because my wife is pregnant. (Also kudos to be one of a few sushi restaurants that can make it well done, also kudos to Janet Tia who let us know about how Tobiko was mixed to some sauce, and recommended not to eat the sauce). Much appreciated. Foods great 4/5 (Wasabi is meh, it’s the paste one) Service great 5/5 Ambience great 5/5 Definitely doesn’t deserve 1/5 star from Indo Karen. Cheers!
