Along the busy road it promised to be a nice setting on wooden chairs, but it was a bit crowded, noisy and, to be honest, the food looked great, but it missed the Javanese spices 🤔. The rice was not fresh, the kerupuk not crunchy and the sate was too chewy 🤨. The only positive part was the small salad bar.

Where do I start. It was just so bad, a bit of a letdown. Most of the food was pretty bland, even the sambal—which is usually the star of any Sundanese cuisines, didn’t have much flavor ... how does sambal end up bland?
The only dish that really stood out was the grilled prawns, they were delicious and definitely the best thing that night, at least they tasted like something.
We chose to sit outside that night—which was nice in theory, but the cushions were so thin that I got uncomfortable rather quickly. We also encountered mosquitoes problem, but I guess we deserved it for choosing the outdoor space.
On the upside, the overall vibe of the place was nice, and the service was good. The staff was friendly and attentive, which helped make the evening a bit better.

A cozy place for hang out with friends or working. The food taste really delicious, fair price with the portion of the food, many kind of side dish. They have kids playground also. Syper friendly staff, great atmosphere...make it a great place to hang out with friends and fam.

A Taste of Sundanese Delight at Waroeng Sunda Restaurant Serpong
Waroeng Sunda, located in Serpong, is a haven for those seeking an authentic Sundanese culinary experience. Nestled in a charming setting adorned with saung (traditional huts) and lesehan (mat seating), this restaurant not only offers a feast for the taste buds but also provides a cultural and cozy ambiance.
One distinctive feature that elevates the dining experience at Waroeng Sunda is the provision of five different types of sambal. Here, patrons have the unique opportunity to customize their spice level according to personal preference. This thoughtful touch caters to a wide range of tastes, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.

Food is good, services quite less, there is no co-ordination between the staff, lack of attention, we ask to refill the ice tea that we had ordered but they come with hot tea refill and replied that they only had hot tea available 😄😄. Anyway, we just hoping that they could more pay attention to detail and increase the co-ordination, especially during the busy time. I preferred to gave them 3 stars, but considering the good food, i think it would be fair to give them 5 stars and critize them with the hope that they could improve themself.
