The time we got there was right at lunch time. Luckily we still got a hut (only 1 hut was empty) 😁 I already knew the food would take a while to arrive (40 minutes) because it was busy. Especially because all the food is made to order and there are only four crew members. But precisely because it was impromptu, everything was fresh. The cere fish has just come out of the frying pan, so it's crispy and crunchy. Delicious eaten with chili sauce and hot rice. The pecak tilapia was still hot and the taste was just right, the ginger flavor didn't dominate. Stir-fry the oncom even though it has a unique shape because it's square 😂 but it's delicious. When I went there it seemed like they were renovating/building to add a hut/dining room, so the road in front of the hut was a bit muddy. Maybe later when it's finished it will be neater. Meal for two, IDR 85,000, I was full and got a package of cere, a package of cracked pecak, 4 pieces of fried food, stir-fried oncom, a basket of rice and mineral water.

Sundanese food that's freshly cooked to order. Fried jengkol, cere fish, fresh vegetables, tilapia pecak, and rice cooked on a wood fire... a truly delicious combination of flavors.

Saung or cere restaurant is the first row on the right side of the road after entering Amprak Pasir (Pangkalan Pasir) alley from the new outer ring road/southern Tangsel - Anamui Cisauk. Motorcycle parking is quite spacious, but limited car parking cannot accommodate many 4-wheeled vehicles. The dishes served are Sundanese dishes that are very delicious, especially when eaten at lunchtime with family or friends. The mainstay menu is none other than the very famous cere fish, sambal, lalap and so on with Sundanese specialties. The stall is very cool because there are shade trees and it is not too muddy. The service so far has been good and the prices are relatively competitive compared to the surrounding stalls that also serve typical Sundanese food with cere fish as the mascot.
