The takeaway service was really bad. No greetings, no offering whatsoever. This staff named Adrian only opened the menu book for us and when I started ordering, he then redirected us to the cashier. Heard our order wrong. Took a long time to input the orders I said clear and concisely. No gratitude. No thank you. The management should retrain staff on service & hospitality, since the food was also mid. Nothing to sell about.
I’ve eaten at other Ta Wan branches, but I don’t remember the food being this tasty. This time we got the free birthday noodle, Nasi Goreng XO, and Cumi Lada Garam—and they all surprisingly tasted like real authentic Chinese food restaurant. Probably it’s magic of the chef’s hand at this branch? If that’s the case, I’d say the chef deserves a raise. Service was quite fast although some of the staff looked like they’re too lazy to work. From the moment we were considering what to order and scrolling through the pages of the menu book, the waiter seemed impatient. While we were eating, we asked something to another waitress and she said “oh that should be confirmed to the cashier”, went away, and never came back to answer our question. Not all of them though, some others were welcoming and accommodating. Better staff training would make the experience of eating here closer to perfect.
1. We came at 4.00 pm 2. None of our food except the birthday noodles (NO UTENSILS, NO FORK, NO SPOON, NO DRINKS) came until 4.33 pm 3. People who came after us get their food first...how come? 4. Kwetiaw Goreng is very oily 5. Not all of our orders came until 4.43 pm 6. Birthday Noodles meat tastes plain as heck, also cold bcs it takes the servers 30 mins to get us our utensils. Disuru makan pake tangan apa gimana? 7. Randomly being offered to buy vouchers/credit card? 8. None of the food looks appetizing, had to finish it anyway bcs we're freaking hungry. 9. Fried chicken is dry and seems like it was cooked for too long. Fried mantau is probably the best food among all. 10. Service is very slow, kayak sekelas Solaria tapi service Solaria lbh cepat drpd hari ini. Thanks for ruining our birthday, we'll never come back. Gatau sejelek ini apa krn ramai apa gimana, but not a single apology uttered.
The fried noodle is very delicious! This is free since it’s a birthday treat! Very recommended!
This restaurant is located in AEON Mall BSD. The food quality was good and it was tasty. The atmosphere is nice as well. A lot of options for Chinese food!!
