Typical tradisional Indonesia, Java cuisine, accompanied by traditional Central Java music. Most of the menu is traditional Central Java dishes. Word of Dapur in English is kitchen, Solo is the name of city in central Java known also as Surakarta. Please like this review and follow me to get update about the place I'll go.
Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing taste of Javanese cuisine. I try selat solo, nasi urap, lontong solo, nasi langi; taste so good. Place: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ strategic location on the Serpong main road at Melati Mas. Cozzy ambience interior, very spacious dining area. Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ a litle bit expensive, but i will definitely come back.
Comfortable place to eat with your family or friends. Modern javanese music is played which make you feel relax. The owner is one of famous caterer in Indonesia, Mrs. Swan. The food and snack are delicious. I ever tried combro (fried grated cassava filled with seasoned fermented soybean residue), timlo (chicken meat & liver, Indonesian pindang boiled egg, and solo sausage in clear soup), rujak (various fruit slices with mixed palm sugar, peanut and chili for dressing), bakwan surabaya (meatball, fishcake, tofu, shrimp shumay in clear soup), asem-asem iga (beef ribs and vegetables in hot and sour soup).all of them tasted great. For drink, if you like warm drink I recommend wedang uwuh (tea with spices and rock sugar. The spices consists of ginger, secang wood and leaf, clove, etc. which the benefits are anti bacterial, antioxidant, natural antibiotic, etc.). They also have various drinks in their menu.
Nice modern restaurant serving javanese cuisine. The waitresses is helpful and welcoming. The restaurant is clean, bright and have many seatings. The 2nd floor also have "VIP rooms". I guess you have to spend a minimum to use them. The food is delicious. This is our first time trying "Selad Solo". It's like sweet and tangy broth soup with chunks of potatoes and beef. The mustard mixed in the soup makes for a fragrant and new experience for us. "Nasi gudeg" and "Langgi si kecil" also not disappointing. The "Misro" also very finely made, crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Overall we feel their food and price is quite balanced considering the place & their service. If anything the Otak2 is quite pricey, since the price tag is 37k per box (5 pieces). Might as well order a full meal for the price.
