We visited for a weekend family dinner, but be warned: it’s extremely popular. The place was packed, which led to occasional delays in service and some menu items being sold out. While the wait tested our patience, the flavorful dishes like grilled crab and nasi liwet (spiced rice) made up for it. Pro tip: Arrive early or book ahead to snag a table and avoid missing out on their signature plates! 🐠

makanan tidak ada rasanya, sayur sedikit sekali. dtg saat baru ada 1 customer yg lg makan, I’m the second customer coming today, but I have to wait almost 1 hour for them to prepare the food. the problem is, the food I order is the simple food to prepare such as kangkung. totally not recommended sih, I don’t know why there’s so many reviews when everything still not proper for them. Makanannya sama sekali ga ada rasanya. Oh my god! really bad experience here.

Food good but expensive. Small plate Cumi Goreng is almost IDR 100,000 after tax. A Fried Fish Kue/ kambing, pretty small is IDR 310,000 after tax only for 3 people. They don't provide a Non Smoking Area. NOT Safe for pregnant women & little baby/ kids.

Gubug Mang Engking - Sundanese and seafood family restaurant The place looks great and this kind of restaurant are a bit hard to find in cities. The typical big family sundanese restaurant with huge ponds and lesehan style restaurant. We ordered gurame terbang, kerang bambu and kangkung balacan. The food taste was good and teh service was okay too. The sambal option are a lot but its a bit pricey. Overall experience was good and its suit for family lunch

Beautiful and cozy place to dine with your loved ones. The atmosphere is authentic Sundanese with several gubuks on top of a big fish pond. Expect a long waiting list on the weekend. Staff are friendly and helpful. Must try: udang bakar saus madu! 🤍
