Beef katsu is straight-up fire. It’s like crispy, crunchy goodness on the outside with juicy, tender beef vibes on the inside. The panko breading gives it that perfect crunch that’s totally addicting. Dip it in that tangy sauce and boom — flavor explosion. Plus, the cabbage on the side keeps it fresh so it’s not too heavy.

Tasted okay, but for the price, i expected more for the quality. The server was nice. The green tea was refillable. The place was clean and has a nice ambiance. It is a new japan style restaurant, located on the ground floor of aeon mal bsd city.

the food is good! served with so many dipping sauces (dashi, curry, special, etc) which gives a plus point. the meat is on a good quality! the miso soup is so dense which is good to my liking. vibes is also good!

The gyukatsu was incredibly tender — it practically melts in your mouth. The seasoning is light but flavorful, letting the quality of the meat really shine. Service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance made the whole experience even better — cozy and relaxed.

Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu - a branch of Japanese style gyukatsu originated from Kyoto Ordered the mix beef and chicken katsu with egg onsen, curry, miso soup on the sides. The dish cost up to 200k per serving and honestly its not really worth the hype. The beef was coated in panko and fried to rare and we grilled it on the table further according to our preference. The chicken however already cooked. The chicken katsu was a bit tough and dry and cold too. We also ordered the mochi which doesn’t look the same at all with the picture beacuse somehow it lost its form and “melt”, but the taste was good tho. Overall experience was just okay. A bit overpriced in Indonesian market. It cost around 2000 yen which probably okay for Japan market, but here I don’t really think so.
