I have known this restaurant for quite a long time when I was on vacation in Puncak and it is always crowded and crowded especially during the holiday season. The standard food menu such as tim rice and chicken noodles taste good. The fried dumplings are a bit lacking. Overall satisfied.
Truth be told, another victim to viral video. Seen it, and happened to pass by after the train station, headed here. Nasi Tim has a good rice texture, fragrant, but was surprised that it has medium sized chunks of chicken in it. For most people they prolly like it, but not me. Mie casiu, noodle was the thick kind, fragrant, pretty alright. Good soup broth. Pangsit goreng, not to my liking, has minimum taste. Kwetiau goreng, this what perplexed me. It's sweet‼️ first encounter in Jakarta to have a sweet kwetiaw goreng. More so on the bland taste, as you only tasted the sweet sauce, nothing else. Was really dissatisfied imo. Couldn't even finish the dish nor even to take it home. Owner offered to remake it tho, which I appreciate. The only saving grace of all the dishes I tried, is just the Mun Tahu fer me. Now this has that distinct smell n taste. The Kwetiau felt like a last minute thought to the menu, pales in comparison to the Mun Tahu. Overall, I wouldn't count on coming back anymore. Shame though, was expecting a lot from my moment of hunger. Not forgetting pricey too for all the dishes. Doesn't justify the dishes at all, albeit the Mun Tahu.
Pangsit viral, lindung cah fumak are the best !!! Frankly speaking the taste is more delicious compare to Kalimantan Puncak.
RM.Kalimantan Alam Sutera is branch from same name restaurant in front of Pasar Cipanas - Puncak , taste is almost same . Usuau if we went to Puncak always have breakfast over there , now no need too far you can enjoy here. Our favourite food are Bakmi Ayam Pangsit ( Asin ) , Nasi Goreng , Mun Tahu , Pangsit Yam and Nasi Tim.
Good taste, good service. The owner (?) was so accomodating about menu variation (i asked to change the capcay meat from chicken to pork casiu....he obliged). Recommended 👍🏻
